Planning a Party? You need Wee Doodle Studio Invitations by Jessica Thibodeaux

Stay-at-Home moms in Colorado Springs want to make sure their children have a wonderful birthday.  They want every aspect of the party to be perfect right down to the invitations.  They want invitations to match the theme of the party.  Where in Colorado Springs are Stay-at-Home moms to get the perfect invitations for their child’s birthday party (or other party)?  To get the perfect invitations, Stay-at-Home moms in Colorado Springs don’t even have to leave their homes…they can order them online through Wee Doodle Studio owned by Jessica Thibodeaux.

Jessica, tell us about yourself.

I am Jessica, owner of Wee Doodle Studio.  I am also a mother of two beautiful girls and the wife to a very supportive husband.  A unique feature about me is that I am 90% Cajun.  I say 90% because my Great Great Grandmother was a Cherokee Indian.

Tell us about your business.

Wee Doodle Studio is a different kind of invitations company.  We design in house and we offer our customers the ability to alter and customize the invitation they like to match the child and/or party theme.

Imagine that you have an invitation you like but would rather a polka dot background instead of stripes.  Wee Doodle Studio can do that for you at no extra charge.  Say your child wears glasses and the child on the card does not…we can add glasses.  It actually is pretty fun to see what people come up with.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Learning SEO (search engine optimization) has been my biggest challenge.  I am not good at web design lingo…I can speak a little Cajun French but that’s the extent of my bilingual ability! 😉  Learning SEO was like learning a new language.  I have to admit I am getting better day by day.  It takes time to learn the ins and outs of it all.

What has come the easiest for you?

Customer service was a no-brainer for me.  I give my customers what they want.  That’s not hard at all.  Wee Doodle Studio wants all of our customers to be satisfied.  We do not want to get the product to you unless it is what you want.  It’s not about the money.  That’s why all of our cards are only $1.25 and include envelopes.  We also do not charge for shipping.  At Wee Doodle Studio we also do not have a minimum quantity required…it’s all about the customer!

Where do you advertise…or do you?

Advertising so far has been through social networks.  We are lucky to live in an age that social networking makes it possible for you to get the word out about your business locally and all over the world.

What would you like to suggest to a mom who is interested in starting her own business?

If you are a mom and thinking of starting your own business it is important that you give it your best and try the hardest you can and never quit.  I think some people give up far too early.  It took a while for me to get my first invitation purchase but when I did I realized “I can really do this”!

Many thanks to Jessica Thibodeaux of Wee Doodle Studio for sharing her wonderfully creative invitation company with us and her advice for moms who are interested in starting their own business.  Visit her website, visit her on Facebook and Twitter too!
